a friend of mine went off on a rant about how “pharmaceutical companies haven’t cured anything since polio, and yet people get sicker and sicker all the time.” while that might not be true, there is a underlying statement that needs to be addressed through education in order for individuals to be made aware of our societies reliance on chemicals.
my response: … of course. the world turns on money and control. in “interview with a heretic” it explains how doctors are the new priest or intermediary for the population. furthermore, doctors and researchers do not even know how drugs prescribed for mental disorders work. And the side effects? well, there are drugs to curb that also…
btw, the pharmaceutical business as of three years ago is the most profitable business in the usa at 49%. (can’t provide the source of that fact)
it is all about sales and control. do you know what stevia is? try finding it in the stores. it is a natual sweetener that is very popular outside of the usa. because it is natural, it cannot be patented, therefore, marginal profit is made selling it. in addition, the fda does not allow it to be sold as a dietary supliement, thus eliminating it from shelve placement next to chemical sweeteners.
dude, money makes the world go round.
in my opinion, people not educated about this situation that you not-so-glamorously pointed out should die from this. that will reduce the power-base (customers) of these companies. then we can start a revolution!
now stop shouting about the blatent injustice in front of us. we gotta keep this on the down-low so the censors don’t come and silence us for exposing them and causing potential revenue loss.
