got back to fucking sin city thursday night and was greeted by a text-only billboard sign on entering the strip on hwy 15 that says “up for a threesome?” nice. we are back in the state that allows smoking anywhere.
tonight tara and I will be going to some dive bar in boulder city. i am sure i will feel bored and left out. so, i am reading up on the flat earth theory to provide some stimulating conversation if need be.
san francisco is a nice city to live in. the number of homeless people should attest to that. it felt very much like being in buffalo again, except has a lot more people without any vacant and derelict buildings. but i didnt really care much for the geography or terrain in that area, except the coastline. who doesn’t the coast?
the main reason to go to SF was to see vienna teng at the independent. the wonderful pianist songstress played to a small crowd of about 170 people, although it only seem as if there were 60 people there, which was great. tara felt her first earthquake there! it was if a bowling ball or bag of sand was dropped right next to us. it was just a big boom felt through the floor. the concert was excellent and if i didnt already love vienna, i love her even more going out makes me so nervous. i am even allergic to beer.
it’s going to be a new year. i feel as though something important is supposed to be said here.
